Invest NI Grant Assistance
Invest NI will be offers mission participants financial assistance towards accommodation and/or travel costs. Grant Assistance entitles companies to:
- - 50% contribution towards economy air fares based on quoted fare from the NICC approved Travel Management Company (exclusive of tax)
- - Daily allowance of up to £100 per night for hotel room
- - An additional allowance will be payable for up to 3 nights for overnight stays in other locations in the region (i.e. USA) or for extra nights spent in any of the mission centres outside their official stay periods. The allowance will be up to a maximum of £100 per night.
- - Allowances are only applicable during the official mission period
To avail of Invest NI Grant Assistance companies must adhere to the terms as follows:
a) Visit the centre at the time outlined in the official Mission itinerary (unless otherwise approved by NICC).
b) Attend all official engagements organised by NICC and Ireland Chamber of Commerce USA (ICCUSA). These will be kept to an absolute minimum.
c) Utilise the services of the appointed travel agent. Grant Assistance will not be available if companies would like to make independent travel arrangements.
d) Stay in the designated hotel(s).
e) Complete a comprehensive post-mission questionnaire.
f) Provide receipts, where requested, as evidence of expenditure following the Mission.
g) Provide information to be published by NICC/Invest NI on contracts awarded and other business developments achieved on the Mission.
